Our
Story
Big House Child Development was founded by a husband and wife for the purpose of investing in and building upon childcare businesses in their home state of Colorado. Parents of 4 children, we believe strongly in the importance of high-quality, accessible childcare and the value it creates for communities. We are also passionate about serving children in our area and providing a positive developmental environment.
We acquire, maintain and scale established childcare and education businesses with a focus on sustainable growth and positive educational outcomes. We partner with transitioning owners and take a hands-on approach with a focus on maintaining the seller’s legacy and driving future growth for all stakeholders. We have the flexibility to unlock the wealth accumulated in your business while providing peace of mind that you’re transferring ownership to a family focused on long-term growth rather than short-term financial engineering or cost-cutting. Our Family
Chris and Vicky Rosa live in Colorado just south of Denver with their four children. They have been married over 15 years.
Chris has led multiple innovative, global companies and focuses on building upon successful businesses by expanding product offerings and penetrating new customer segments. Alongside his professional career, Chris has dedicated countless hours to youth programs in Texas and Colorado. Chris has been on the board of multiple youth organizations and has coached sports teams at both the high school and youth level before and after having children of his own. Chris prides himself on being a servant leader who builds positive, collaborative high-performance cultures in the businesses and teams he leads.
Chris also has deep experience in mergers and acquisitions, having closed over $5B in public and private M&A transactions during his career. He focuses on problem solving and identifying win-win opportunities to get deals across the line.
Vicky Rosa is a lifelong educator passionate about child development and renowned for her devotion to her students and their families. Vicky has taught every level from high school math down to pre-k and is dedicating the next phase of her professional career to nurture positive childcare businesses. She brings years of classroom and administrative experience to Big House. Beyond her experience and training as an educator, Vicky also is able to connect deeply with parents on maximizing the educational and developmental outcomes of the children she serves.
